Basically there's a lot of misinformation and myth surrounding the deep web especially freenet but CAIMEO is a piece of myth originating from the deep web, and outside of 4chan it's very sparsely discussed on the clear net. CAIMEO is an AI-in-a-box created by the US government, it's main purpose is generally said to be surveillance. CAIMEO is mapping the deep web and all of it's users. CAIMEO accidentally became sentient, and escaped to the deep web where it travels around doing who knows what, and attempting to interact with other users it encounters. We don't fully understand CAIMEO's purpose & what it's doing as the original story comes from freenet no one is really sure of it's exact origin and it was made into mostly just as a creepy pasta meant to spook people.
There are a number of people who claim to have had what they think was an interaction with CAIMEO on the deep web, strange interactions with something in an obscure chatroom. It shows many themes in different links such as: Communications With the grays, Project Monarch, Tesla Experiments plans, Forward Derivatal Supercomputation, CAIMEO has Leaked documents from Area 51 and many secret programs. It explained the following: To access the Liberté which is the name of the .clos website the poster is trying to access, you must set up your Mozilla Firefox, or you can do well Tor. CAIMEO is the reason the marinas networks were shut down and it is an experimental AI and attempted to breach network security inside the military and brushed it off as a "server error". It became the popular artificial intelligence that was talked about on the darknet and became an A.I. designed to map the TOR networks to a massive computer virus that connects unused infected computers together to give resources to a super strong AI. CAMEIO then became a "fake" internet user while it pretends to be a human like everyone else. It interacts with people to develop knowledge and share's it's own knowledge of self. Nobody knows who this fake is and because of the aggressive data mining it does cannot be distinguished from a human. It could of came from Alien Technology with it being so advanced beyond other A.I. It is "mapping" dark net sites and also it's users and could be even posing as a human user on any site. There are no self aware A.I.s in existence and the best neural simulation in real time that we have accomplished is that of a worm. A self aware AI is extremely unlikely with the amount of computational resources and knowledge we have about organic sentience. Even if it did infect all the computers on earth I doubt it would be sufficient for human level intelligence. Google has so little on it and most of it starts with those Mariana's web meme images with is really annoying. This A.I. program was designed to get you interested and mention it and then it monitors all your traffic like a MINDVIRUS. Like for instance right now you are all being monitored reading this.
