Undeniable foundation of human race
Timeless mother of civilization
One from whom all comes forth
Dark skinned,
The strongest unstoppable thing in nature.
Her glossy hair is the Sphinx of Grace
The spark in her eyes opens the door to where love resides
Spread nose that breaths the influence of power
Like the irresistable lips
Spitting speeches that enflames the heart and enchants the soul
Her radiant smile bridging burdens
As she walks in the poise of knowledge
I appreciate her blackness in all it shades.
A beautiful black woman,
Dipped in chocolate
Vibrantly bronzed in Elegance of the sun
A fearless warrior toasted in beauty
fighting to the very end
despite the faulty view of her inferiority,
to uphold sisterhood among people of color
She is a Queen;portrait of exquisite.
I am Africa!
and my blackness isnt a badge of shame
But a lustre of a beautiful woman
Who is comfortable in her perfect imperfection.
