I know a lot about love. I am an older man.
The biggest threat to love is the words we say that hurt.
Those words are never forgotten. We may say we forgive.
But, do we truly forget. The invisible barrier is always there.
What we had before is lost forever. After many weeks. months. and years of hurting words. Nearly all love is lost.
So we must all be careful with our words to the one we love.
If we wish to keep that love of course.
Emotional hurt is the most painful of all hurts.
It may heal. But the scar will always be there.
