Adventure Every Day is launching in Norway! (Introduction with short film)

Oliver and I sat on a bench looking out over the beautiful landscape in front of us, taking in the crisp fall air as we reminisced about the adventures and excursions of the last year. We had met at a Norwegian language course in downtown Oslo the previous September – Oliver having moved several months earlier from his native Germany to be with his Norwegian girlfriend whom he met while traveling in Southeast Asia, and I (Mike) having freshly arrived just weeks earlier from my home in Ohio, USA in pursuit of an exciting new job opportunity.

We had dabbled in film and photography, mostly for personal memories, but it was then that we had a realization: that this is a place worth sharing, one amongst many such places that exist in our beautiful world, and that we should combine our hobbies and passion for exploration to create stories about it.

And so Adventure Every Day was born. Or at least that’s the closest to a moment of birth that I can pinpoint. But I think it was really there all along, just waiting for the right moment to break loose.

So today we are happy to announce, right here on Steemit, the launch of our creative channel/life philosophy of Adventure Every Day. Adventure Every Day because life is short, but precious, and full of opportunity every minute of every day. Because the world we live in has its share of problems, but it is still an amazing place worth celebrating, and by working hard maybe we can somehow make a difference. And not the least, because adventure is what drives us. What we live for. What we dream of at night and think about all day.

We are excited to embark on this journey and hope we can make it something that provides both entertainment and inspiration for those who come across it. For now, we’ll leave you with the first taste of what we hope to show more of:
