Lemon

Lemon (Citrus limon) is one of the most widely used citrus fruits in the world, both for consumption and non consumption. Lemon juice consists of 5 to 6% citric acid which makes it taste sour. Lemon is usually processed into juice, lemonade, pie, pancakes, etc. Lemon can also be used as a mixture of salad or pickle like many done in India, Pakistan, and the Middle East.
The origin of the lemon is not known for certain, but is thought to be from China, Myanmar, or India. In Indonesia alone, lemon is still less populist than his brother, lime (Citrus aurantifolia). However, it does not mean that the lemon is less nutritious than the lime or other citrus fruits. Lemon is also rich in nutrients and has many health benefits.

Not only does it have amazing health benefits but it can make food and water taste that much better! I have my clients put a squeeze of lemon in their water if they have a hard time drinking enough during the day. This way the water tastes fresh and it becomes much easier to drink a gallon a day!

Hi @gumegxgolgom, that's a very beneficial post. I am so obese now, really need to cut my calories. Drinking lemonade is so refreshing and provides so many health benefits. I use lemon to infuse water. That’s what helped me kick the soda and tea habit. If I’m going to get calories in me, I’m not going to drink them.
