ADSactly #1 Trash Name for Trash Content

Part 2
Part 3
Part 4

As more users recognize both the potential and weaknesses of Steemit, there’s a drive to weed out those gaming the system with poor-quality content. Be it voting pool thieves, scams, stock photo bloggers, whale wars, plagiarist or infomercials, two sides are forming around the idea of quality, and its adherents.

Sycophantic comments wont improve this situation. What’s needed is calling out those guilty parties by name.
Mediocre content is passed off as grand. The commentary from 90% of the user base is obsequious dogshit. Are people scared to say what they really think? Or are they really just this servile? This is what a decentralized platform looks like? A coterie of the dull?

I’ve literally seen someone comment that a spreadsheet, a fucking spreadsheet, was “the most amazing and wonderful spreadsheet that I have ever seen”. But what’s stood out to me most was the content of the writing and short stories promoted by ADSactly. It was after researching this group that I came to the conclusion they are either a cult, a Ponzi scheme, a scummy MLM group or all three.

They have a trending post daily. I’ve read many. I want my lifetime back. ADSactly posts could be written by a semi-literate teenager.

Now, it’s one thing if poorly written content gets the occasional success. Fifty Shades of Grey is garbage, for example, but a best seller. Still, the comments on these posts confirm that our species has no hope.

“Amazing!” “Best EVER!” “So Good!”

Are these people actually reading this stuff? Are they crazy? No. They’re just sycophants who want an upvote, and this is the kind of community that the mind-numbing content by ADSactly promotes.

I question the sanity of anyone who actually thinks the writing is quality content.

A majority percentage of the upvotes for ADSactly are

  1. Bots
  2. The obsequious masses
  3. Whale friends (upvote rings)

I will be publishing multiple articles on ADSactly. I will do this in order to increase the chances of viewership, in an effort to spread awareness about this group. I genuinely believe they are bad for Steemit. I encourage anyone involved with them to look at the evidence. I encourage everyone on this platform to look at the evidence.

My interest here is the truth. Come to your own conclusions as I have come to mine.

In the next article, we'll start with their own words.

Hey. I hope you found this article informative. All articles on my ADSactly TRASH series will be listed as unpaid. This is because I expect to get flagged by these losers for the content written here. My interest is truth, and I genuinely believe this group is shady, and at best, a Ponzi scheme. If you enjoyed this article or agree with me, comment, share and spread the word. We should get these assholes off the platform. Steemit can be great. First, we need to guillotine.

Hi @drollguillotine. Look, you are completely entitled to your opinion, but your opinion is kinda wrong. As a writer for Adsactly, I highly disagree with your opinion that our content is trash. Here are some links to posts I have written. If you feel they are trash, I challenge you to critique exactly what is trash about them.

https://steemit.com/music/@adsactly/adsactly-music-artist-spotlight-fela-kuti-the-legend

Please, go ahead, tell me how these are trash.

There's a huge amount of effort that goes into these articles from lots of different people and the people that write the articles get paid out more than they would on their own steemit profiles. This is called, "an opportunity".

Instead of levelling accusations, why don't you join the discord server and ask the people in the group and actually have a discussion?

Hey Papalegend.

I know that, probably out of poor writing, that my articles come off attacking people that contribute to ADSactly. I apologize for coming off like I'm attacking you specifically, or any of the people that put a lot of effort into posts listed under ADSactly.

I'm publishing this series to highlight the evidence, which I believe is clear enough, that ADSactly as a organization (or whatever it is) is a Ponzi scheme.

My concern here is for the people themselves. Again, I'm not interested in attacking writers for ADSactly, but in the organization itself.

There likely is a lot of quality posts through ADSactly, but that has more to do with YOUR skill, not ADSactly.

ADSactly is made up of everyone who contributes towards it, there is no official ADSactly organisation as such. (I only joined a few short months ago) Please feel free to join the discord and chat to anyone on there, because I do believe that your accusation that it is a Ponzi scheme is unfounded. We are trying to create a space where we can help each other in the various spheres of our lives, and its a great place to meet people and talk about crypto or whatever it is you wanna talk about. I can't see anything having happened because of ADSactly, only positive things. Come and join us! Even if you just want to tell us how shit we are! 😃 Haha.

I'll continue to post articles to support my claims. There's far more to this than an absent creator. In fact, there is a creator and I believe I have his name. There are people in charge of websites related to the group and more.

I understand that people are able to get some kind of revenue and reward from whales. But I'd suggest reading through everything with a critical eye.

I mean this. I'd rather be 100% wrong than correct.

Awesome post! I like it :) 👍
