House of The Nation or Jatya Sangsad of Bangladesh is main administration building of Bangladesh.

The Construction of this building was started in
1961 and Completed in 1982 which Cost 32 million US doller.This Reinforced concrete, brickwork building was designed and constructed by Louis I. Kahn.His co architect was Muzharul Islam.
Parliament of Bangladesh is a unicameral legislature consisting of 350 members of which 300 Members from 300 territorial constituencies who are elected by direct election process.Every citizens vote their favourite candidate.The persons gets the highest number of votes is elected as a member of National Parliament of his area.His validity exists for five years.The other 50 seats belong to reserved female members of parliament.
