BELKAGA (elephant leg elimination month) is routinely held every year, and this has been going on for three years, this event is held all over Indonesia both in the city and in the village, where friends must be there too ...!

Before the BELKAGA took place we cadres were trained first to understand and understand what elephantiasis is, we were also trained on how to explain to the community what elephantiasis is, so that people understand and want to take elephantiasis medication.





Elephantiasis (filariasis) is an infectious disease that is transmitted through mosquito bites. Mosquitoes bite people who have been affected by elephantiasis (filariasis) then the mosquito bites a healthy person, in the blood of people who already suffer from elephantiasis containing thousands of worm seeds filaria process like in the picture that I have shown.
