🚶 🚶 🚶 ▶ Entry # 2▶ My Actifit Report Card: August 31 2018
Hey all Steemians! Health is the greatest gift! 👋 👋 👋
This is my second participation at @ACTIFIT! I really enjoy using this app, so I remember the first time I tried it, when I would have been checking regularly the Activity Count, but today I decided to check it in the end of my journey through the city, just after I get back home. So all the time through I was totally patient, and later on after about three hours and a half when I saw the number I was woow, extremely happy.To be honest didn't expect it above 15 000 steps!
Went out by 6 pm, walked through the whole city. ( The last two weeks I am spending in Dimitrovgrad, Bulgaria, which is my home city. Small city, located on the main highway connecting EU with Turkey, and North Europe with Greece, the East route, not the one through Serbia and Macedonia).
I spent about an hour and a half in the river park. You can see Maritsa ( Turkish Meric, Greek Evros) the longest, the most famous in my country river that runs solely in the interior of the Balkans ( as per wikipedia ). Flows through the whole South Bulgaria, before it becomes a border river, separating Greece and Turkey and finally it enters Mediterranean Sea.
We had a very cool and rainy June and July, unlike the rest of Europe. But the last few weeks are hot with temperatures up to 35-37. Today was a hot, dry day, so I had a nice relaxing time in the park by the river.
The central square was sooo quiet, looks like all inhabitants of the city are still on vacation.The sea season generally continues till the first-second week of September, and after that is getting lower and lower, till the last tourists board the planes, that means by the end of September - beginning of October, and then it is over!
Will try to show you next time some pics when it is hustle and bustle here... It looks soo boring now...
