My Actifit Activity Log [12.11.2018] #AutomaticWin R.U.T.S.

In continuation of our coverage of the SPIRIT health compounder today’s post is going to be about overcoming negative thought patterns.

I call these negative ways of thinking R.U.T.S. (Real Ugly Thinking Syndrome) It is the continual repetition of these ugly thoughts that cause increasingly more of the same thing so it's pretty important to deal with them. We will attempt to do this by the end of this post.

The way I see it... the same mind that created the problems in the first place can not be the same mind that finds or creates the solution to that problem. In other words... If you want different results its far better to approach the problem with a different mindset and a different attitude. This is the best way to overcome the obstacles that are blocking your way!

I have always been under the impression that nothing good happens from thinking negatively. I strongly believe this to be an important way to frame the world I live in. I guess that’s why I’m an undying optimist!

Optimism is all about daring to ask, “What if?” and “Why not?” Creating new pathways to success is the result of asking the right question... one that is framed by the ability to look at the past objectivity and the vision of the future constructively. Looking past the road blocks in the present and at what could be if we took a step forward in that direction... That's what being an optimist is all about!

First things first though! Rooting out all those R.U.T.S.!

These are negative habits... or lies we tell ourselves in order to lull ourselves into complacent acceptance for what is... rather than what could be!

So next time you catch yourself stuck in a R.U.T. recognize the syndrome for what it is and chose to re-write the story! You are the author of your own adventure... and it all starts with how you are thinking. Every thought does matter! Like a path it leads to a destination.

Give your SPIRIT a boost by recognizing when your sinking into stinking thinking. Don't allow your attitude towards your current circumstances to stinking things up! Switch it up and plant positive thoughts. Like a garden these thoughts grow up to sustain you SPIRIT, mind, and body! These are empowering thoughts, uplifting thoughts worth watering.

Training your mind to select words carefully is of the utmost importance because the quality of your life depends on the quality of the words passing through your mind... Negative thoughts, if tended and watered, will grow like a wild and uncontrollable weed. And weeds aren’t good for anything!

Taking the time to assess your thoughts. This is a good way to measure your overall spiritual condition. Healthy people think and do healthy things. Determine to do more positive thinking because positive thinking is 10 times as influental to your life outcome as negative thinking. But first things first! You have got to catch yourself before you allow negative thoughts to turn into R.U.T.S.!

Listening to your internal dialogue may give you a good idea of your overall spiritual condition so pay close attention! You never know just what your going to learn about yourself!
