My Actifit Report Card: July 9 2019
Have my goal in mind - try the 24 Hr option in the Fat Ox ultra at the end of November down in AZ. Not that expensive and an opportunity to try to get a 24 Hr ultra back under my belt and use it as a baseline for moving forward. No great expectations except to just go, go, go for the 24 hrs and hopefully put down 3 mph effort and get into the 70+ range. Also a chance to try out gear, foods, etc to see how it goes this time. My last low key 24 was 3 years ago in CO but I ended up sleeping 8 hours at night after having worked a 12 Hr night shirt the day before and being up for over 30 hrs. 52 miles that time so definitely can do better. Today's run was a morning loop thru town in the cool air so much nicer than the past few days of heat and humidity. Have a lot to work to do in the next few months but if you don't try you'll never succeed!
