As darkness hits the whole town(My Actifit Report Card: January 15 2020)
Good Day my fellow actifitters 🏃♂️
As my whole town was struck by darkness due to a substation blown up again, I had a candle to keep the light shining in my life.
Then it hit me a bright light outside, the only light in the street lighting up the darkness.
Yes my solar powered spotlight came on I was saved 😁
I wish I could get some more of it but its quite expensive in my country.
And the battery only holds 8 hours.
But it does what it intended to do.

Awesome job with your 10996 @actifit steps @thecontractor! I am fortunate as my husband way back in 2009, began building solar arrays almost one panel at a time. We now have a 6300KW of solar power dispersed amongst 4 arrays. It does quite nicely. There is only December-February where it can be a little hit or miss depending on the cloud cover and how much UV gets through. Most of the time, if the power goes out, we don't notice it as we run our house on solar 24/7 with the exception of our well. I usually have what I call a 'grid monitor' (a night light) on at night during stormy times so I know if we have the grid to rely on or not. If we had not done our arrays this way, back when it was even pricier than now, we might not have what we have today. Have a wonderful evening!
