Mr Blue Sky

When you see the shots I took this morning on my Walk you may wonder why the title for this post of Mr. Blue Sky, well let me share the lyrics of the chorus

Mr. Blue Sky please tell us why

Where did we go wrong?
And that sort of summed up this past week the sun has hardly made an appearance, but that said the wind dropped off today and even though there was no color for the sunrise the temp was quite pleasant for a nice walk along the boardwalk, and I got in about 5k Steps by 7 AM when the sun was supposedly rising, I say supposedly as it did get lighter but there were enough clouds in the sky that you could not see the sun.
I did enjoy the walk but it was pretty grey and not worth getting my camera out of the bag, pretty much the story of the week, I think there was only one day this week so far when I have got my camera out of the bag, but this will change I am sure :) and I will take this weather over what comes with the next season :)

I did get out a little during the day walking with my Wife today as well which built up my steps a bit for today

Other than that was an easy day at home caught up on some of the World Cup Rugby games I missed the last couple of days and my thoughts are with those in Japan being affected by those hit by the Typhoon.

Now as you will see my shots from today are a little Dull so let's start with some colorful shots from my Camera on previous visits to the beach.

This was on a morning where Mother Nature was in a flamboyant mood and Mr. Blue Sky was out to play, unlike today as you will see below

NOw I have often shared shots at the beaches here where Charles island is in virew inthe distance but I do not think I have often shared a Shot of it as the main subject so let me change that today with this next shot

Shots with the iPhone from today's walks

Walking along the boardwalk to start with I went with a mono edit of this shot, but at this stage, it really was quite mono as this was early before sunrise.
I did an upgrade of my iPhone software the other day and noticed this morning they have updated the camera software to a new look and added some features including noise reduction which helped with this shot

Now thinking of the title for this post, there were traces of blue at time sthis morning but I definitely would not call it Mister Blue sky today

Now I took this shot primarily because I all to often do not show other people in my photos and this is to show I wasn't the only one out walking the beach this morning, in fact, there were a few people out this morning walking or running along the boardwalk

I guess the grey skies this morning put me in a mono mood with a few mono shots in this post but really the colors were so subdued I honestly think most of them look better in mono

No one was playing beach volelybal;l this morning, which you may think is to be expected at 7AM inthe morning,b ut often on Weekend mornings I see a group of three people practiving on these courts.
