My Actifit Report Card: November 19 2018
The Day After!
I don’t know about all you other runners but I tend to hurt the day after a half marathon race and I’m just so tired. I got up early even though I was tired but I just couldn’t get back to sleep, which is really annoying. All I wanted to do today was have a rest day but I had to go to work. So I had to ingore all the aches and pains and just get on with it, at the end of the day it is self inflicted.
One thing that is hurting is my stomach where I had the really bad stitch yesterday, it’s just low down on the left. I didn’t realise why it was hurting to start with then I remembered that’s exactly where the stitch was yesterday that I just couldn’t get rid of for quite a long way. What is a stitch and why do we get them? I always thought it was either something to do with breathing or eating. If anyone can help please leave a comment.
Anyway I was browsing through the photos from the race and came across this, it’s not the best photo of me but it’s always good to have an action photo.
