My Actifit Report Card: December 4 2018

Hello Everyone,
I trust you all had a great Tuesday. My activities started with a walk to the bus stop. It was drizzling in the morning so I had to have an umbrella handy and my phone in a ziploc bag.
My day at the office went well and as usual I caught some steps moving around the office and during the lunch break. As the day progressed the clouds disappeared giving way to short bursts of sunshine.
By the time I was leaving the office at around 4:30 it was cloudy but no rain. Later at around 6pm I went out walking in the neighborhood. After getting over 10k steps I decided to call it a day.

I was reading some scary findings that show lack of movement to be a cause of various ailments. Including dementia, parkinsons, macular degradation and slow atrophy of internal organs.
Once you don't have sufficient oxygenated blood flowing in your system. These conditions slowly creep up and form over the years until eventually it is too late to correct them.
So please ensure to be active, break a sweat and raise your heart beat to keep your body functioning properly.

Hi there @practicaleric yes, I agree with you that if you keep moving and be active is really and actually good your for health. Good advice you can give to anyone who is stagnant, but then again they may have issues, but if not then this is an excellent advice plus not only that getting in shape is also very much important. Most of the time this is the one that can make or break. lol, despite what others may say...

Many people take exercise for granted, not realizing the grave mistake they are making. Years later they are incapacitated, bed ridden and in pain. Knowledge is power; so hopefully we won't be part of these statistics. Let's keep learning and stepping 👍😁

Yes I know about laughter yoga my dear @amico. I wrote a whole post about it sometime last year. They say that laughter is the best medicine. It releases good endorphins to strengthen your immune system. That is why I am not too up-tight, I like to enjoy life look back at some silly stuff I have done and just laugh at myself.
I do enjoy watching comedies and funny stuff too.
