35km in a bicycle in one day is pretty great!
Thank you @chesatochi! Thankfully it was relatively flat but there were some uphill sections that were challenging but the views and weather more than made up for it. I'll be doing bigger blog posts about all these places I visited when I get back home and have more time to write them 🙂

Thanks a lot @definethedollar! Haven't cycled for a while and it was good to feel the air rushing against my face. Usually struggle with my right knee though and that made it a bit more challenging. Mind over matter though! Wasn't letting up on this one 🙂

Very well done, then...I turned to bike when I was no longer medically able to run (back), so I know the struggle. So glad you’re with us anyway.
I may have to pick up swimming instead of running/cycling as I am starting to feel the strain in the joints from 5 marathons and cycling doesn't seem to be my friend haha! Not sure how I can record Actifit steps with swimming though? Any tips?

The Fitbit Charge 3 is waterproof...never tried using it swimming yet though.

Interesting, I'll look in to it when I get back from travelling, have had the fitbit charge 2 for a couple of years now and has served me well but is only "splash proof" really. I'm sure the fitbit team have developed some new models since then that I can use to sync up to our beloved Actifit!
Thanks for the tip!

I'm glad to see the weather improving! Godspeed, bro! :D

Um, no thank you. No bike seat is comfortable enough for such a long bike ride. Dealing with any blisters? LOL
Imagine 70km 😛 that's what I did last year with my brother in Cornwall, I couldn't walk the next day that's for sure! No blisters this time round which I'm very happy with!

Not imagining anything. Not no 70km bike ride that's for sure, unless its on a motorcycle. But even then the seat needs to be comfy. Boney butts are not good on bikes. Glad there are no blisters :p
