My Actifit Report Card: February 11 2020

in #actifit5 years ago

I destroyed myself at the gym yesterday and im really feeling it this morning. My fiance dropped me off at the gym and didnt come back for over 2 hours so I kicked my own ass for that entire time!

I have a love/hate relationship with being sore... I love it because I know I had an amazing workout the day before.. I hate it because well lets face it, being sore is uncomfortable! However, if I'm not sore the next day then I feel like I slacked off at the gym lol..

Anyhow, my activity for the day was all done at the gym. I ran 3 miles 🏃‍♂️, then did a good chest 🏋️‍♂️ and arm workout. I also did 25 mins of abs and some light leg work to burn some time. Oh i also used the stair stepper for 6 mins, or as I like to call it The Stairway to Hell! 😂🤣😂

And that was it for me friends, take care ✌😎

Is it just a stair stepper or is it one of those tread stepper things that moves while you are stepping? I have seen those before and they look interesting to me. My Achilles is acting up again, but I added some stationary jogging back into my routine this week, so that is probably why.

Yes, it's like a treadmill stair stepper! Almost like a mini escalator, and that thing is the fucking devil! LMAO. If you want a good workout that thing will have you sweating hard in just a few mins.

Stationary jogging will definitely put quite a bit of strain on your Achilles Tendon so be very cautious with that and don't overdo it. If you are looking for a way to break a sweat without really pounding on that tendon maybe try an elliptical machine (if you have a gym membership). Otherwise a great at home workout is yoga, that is not only easy on joints and tendons but will also strengthen them. Plus you can youtube that or download a yoga app for free.

My fiance is a yoga teacher and she breaks me off when I come to her power yoga classes, that shit is no joke ;)
