October 15, 2018 :: Of needlework and walking and a little dancing

It was a day of walking to work, dancing a little to music, finishing up the floor mat and still going on with the ski lodge hat.
It is a slow progress for the ski lodge hat but I am liking the softness of the yarn .

The scarf is currently put aside first while I work on finishing off the hat.

Currently at Row 9. Slowly and hope to complete it soon.

I really love the floor mat! I love the way the contrasting colors look together and I love the size of it. I probably would have never thought to put colors together in this way but it works so well! Hmmmm what fun colors can I put together lol?!!! The hat is looking neat and lovely. Looking forward to seeing it all ready!! Oh and I love the color you chose for it too!
Thank you @crosheille! Haha yah, I was unsure about the combination too but because the blue yarn was finished, I just thought to mix it up a bit. Mixing up colours can be quite fun isn't it? Hehe. I love the floor mat - do you have some kind of backing on it to be anti slip, or do you think that's unnecessary?
Thank you @phoenixwren! Ah, my yarns are pretty rough acrylics, so no backing is required. I am using it now on the kitchen floor :) But you can add an anti slip backing, to be safe.
