My Actifit Report Card: 육두문자? 무슨 뜻이지?
일반적으로 거친 말이나 욕을 할 때 입에서 육두문자 나온다고는 하는데, 사실 육두문자라고 했을 때 육두가 무슨 뜻이기에 이것이 욕을 의미하는지는 모르고 써왔습니다.
그래서 육두문자의 뜻을 찾아봤습니다.
- 사전적 의미
육두문자 : 상스럽거나 음탕한 말을 점잖게 이르는 말
육두라는 말이 고기 '육', 머리 '두' 인데
고기의 머리라고 하는 뜻인데 은유적인 말로써 남성의 성기를 가리키기 때문에 '음담패설'을 의미하기도 한다네요.
