My Actifit: September 30 2019
Had to go to work early this morning to turn on a bunch of machines that were turned off for the weekend in case the predicted storm took out the power. I got a lot of steps walking around the building
Went for a short walk today to make a house payment. This got me some more steps.
After work I did a bit of grocery shopping on the way home. When I got home we had leftovers for dinner.
Then I worked on an electronic project with an electronic project kit I have. It allows you to do many different things to see how circuits and resistors and the like work.
oh... that's a nice little play-kit there :D
at first I got a bit hyped because it looked like a full on modular synth :P
let me see what you have wired up there?! A photo-resistor and an led, the led has a current limiting resistor and seems to be driven from a relay. The relay is properly wired with the fly-back diode and triggered from a transistor... that's where things get mysterious, without seeing the "controls" off to the left side, I'd have to guess it's a light-triggered LED with an override switch?!
Nicely done! That is very close. It is a light-triggered LED that has a sensitivity control determining how how much light is needed to keep the LED on. Shine a light on the sensor, the LED comes on. Cover it and the LED turns off.
