My Actifit Report Card: January 5 2020

Most of the morning it was raining really hard. Around noon I went down to the park for some disc golf practice. It was really muddy and there was water all over the grass.

My boots kept my feet dry, the waterproofing spray works great. It would not have been good to play in athletic shoes though. I'm getting used to wearing heavy boots when I throw discs and don't mind it as much.

Later in the day I headed down to the store to get some shopping done.

Here's the view of the parking lot by the store that I rode my e-bike to. I purchased a lot of things and loaded up the rack with some weight. It was really easy to get it back home without pedaling hard. (A regular bike would have been a lot more work with a heavy load.)

My purple Tern disc remains my longest flying driver. So long as it does not get turned over and float too far out of line with the target it works great. The Pro plastic seems to be a little less stable than the GStar plastic that I had on the previous two Tern discs that I lost. I really like the grippy feel of the plastic and it was a little less expensive.

Here's where the Tern landed on a longer drive. I almost birdied it from here but it was blowing a lot and I missed the putt. In contrast the Destroyer disc I threw earlier from the tee landed about fifty feet shorter and faded hard over to the left. It is a lot more stable and works better for a throw into a headwind but today it was more of a left to right crosswind.
