My Actifit Ulog 17 July 2019 - My Run Away Furkids
What a day it was yesterday! My sister came to visit and when they were leaving did not take extra care with the gate and BOOM! Both Bolt and Skippy took off out on to the road at full speed!
Spent a good half an hour or more chasing them down making sure that they would not get lost. It took 5 of us and two cars to get them back. I would have picked up a lot more steps if I didn't leave my phone in my bag in the car as I was most of the time on foot looking into back lanes and bushes. It didn't help that it was 10.30 pm at night and pitch dark with sparse street lighting at different areas! Gah! Finally got them back using their monthly heartworm medicine that is made out of liver as bait before grabbing them!
Phew exercise indeed!
The day started great! I had work all planned out and best of all I had meetups planned for the day too! I have been away for so long and so many things have happened, just getting out lately has been helping a little. One day at the time, one day at the time...my mantra lately.
It was lovely indeed to catch up with @joannewong and @bitrocker2020! We talked about stuff happening on Steem, SF 4, margin trading...gambling on the blockchain... Joanne's soy candle business! Her candles are lovely! She brought one for me to see and the smell of her pandan candle was heavenly! I can't wait for her to start production of her candles! Go check it out! It will perk up any environment and makes for a lovely gift to someone!
Finally, I was supposed to meet up with my sister and her family at Nu Sentral shopping mall near my office to get some food and catch up. She is home for the summer holiday until next week. She lives in England and generally makes it home to visit our parents and us at least once a year. Everything was going well until, she came over to our house for a short visit...
Lesson learned, my furkids get chained up before opening the gate to let anyone in or out. Will let them loose once the gate is shut tight but not before.
