My Actifit Report Card: March 17 2019

Hey Actifitters and Steemians,

To is Sunday and it started early for me because we attended the early morning service. Before going to church I washed the car and feed the rabbits because the workers doesn’t work on weekends most times except if I asked for overtime and he was available.

Service was great, they had and exchange of pulpit that is when one Reverend from another church visits our own church and our own Reverend visits another church entirely. I am an Anglican and they normally do this practice during the period of lent. Service was great, nice to hear the sermon in another style and there was a lot of dancing that went with praise worship time. It reminds me of the firm Sisters Act which had Whoopi Goldberg and other great actors. A sister said something like “boogy woogy in the church”, lol, well, I don’t know about that but here in Nigeria, you’ve got to move that body when dancing to praise and worship songs. Lol.

We went to the shopping mall on our way back to get some household needs, that added more steps for me and when we got home boy was I hungry. We had swallow with bitterleaf soup it was really delicious and we had a lot of stuff to chew in the soup like snails, chicken, dried fish and stock fish. After helping out with the washing of the dishes, I joined the family to watch a movie, unfortunately I slept off before finding out what the movie was all about. Lol.

My son and I went for a walk while my wife was preparing dinner, the rain yesterday night made everywhere very cool and smelling fresh we walked to nowhere in particular until my son said he wanted to go home. Oh, that was after buying ice cream for him and the biscuits too. We had dinner which was a light one, toast bread and tea. And I guess that’s a wrap for me.

I saw a summary of recent past events in the news while taking my dinner and it made the food feel tasteless. I saw the Ethiopian Plane crash and the New Zealand shooting, a lot of lives have been lost, my heart goes out to the families and friends of loved ones that are gone, I don’t know why such things happen but guess we just have to do our best to help when we can while we are alive because we will not get that opportunity to help when we are gone.

I’ll be playing you my best song in the Sisters Act movie for you to boogy woogy. Lol. I do hope you dig it, let’s be happy and enjoy life while we still have it.
