My Actifit Report Card: February 4 2019 - Mercy Just Put To Bed

Mercys’ Kits

Hey Actifitters and Steemians,

I was busy minding my own business when I saw @amr008 tag my username on his post which has a challenge on it. I read through his post and felt it is not for me because I just assumed there were great actifitters listed that I felt had already won the challenge because of the type of step count they keep churning out daily. But on second thought, I thought to myself and said those people don’t have two heads as my people use to say, if they can do it why can’t you. I had done 30,000 plus steps before when @michealb through me a challenge so I decided that I’ll enter and target 30,000 minimum step counts as my base entry from today until 11th February when the contest ends.

An hour and 20 minutes of early morning walk was how I hit the ground running today. My rabbit helper has the day off today so I took the day off going to the office basically to monitor Mercy (she is a doe that was supposed to put to bed yesterday but didn’t, I also wanted to cross some of the rabbits (mating a male normally called a buck with a female rabbit normally called a doe). There were so much documentation to be done as well to avoid inbreeding (we avoid breeding of brothers and sisters like a mad). It is quite funny how principles that affect human beings also affect animals. By the time I was done at the farm and went to grab some lunch Mercy had still not put to bed.

I went for a long walk in the early evening so that I’ll meet my target, in fact when I left home the suns’ intensity can still be felt, I just walked along the part that the sun had cast a shadow on so that I don’t get burned out on time. On my way back I had to stop at a roadside fried yam seller to get some fried yams I intending eating for dinner, when I was going I saw her preparing her stuff for the days business. She usually fries it in the morning and in the evening when people usually use them for breakfast or dinner. She normally adds some pepper sauce to eat the yam with it. By the time I got back home and went to the rabbit farm house and wow! 8 kits (rabbit children) there wiggling to stay together. I noticed Mercy didn’t pull her fur like her sister Nancy. Nancys’ kits turned out ok so I believe Mercys’ kits should be ok too. And that is a wrap.
