My Actifit Report Card: December 31 2018 - Cart Pushers At The Market

Happy New Year Actifiters and Steemians,

I went to Alaba International Market today to repair an old phone I have that is behaving in a cranky manner. The crowd I saw at another market we went to after church gave me the confidence to believe that so many people would be at the market today and for that reason I didn’t go with my car but went with public transport so that I’ll have enough chance to walk round the market and do some window shopping after the repairs on my phone.

Well, it wasn’t like yesterday Sunday because a lot of shops were closed for the holidays or travelled to visit their family members in their respective villages. A lot of our people don’t like staying away from their family members to celebrate the New Year so they do all the possibly can to travel back to their villages.

One thing that marvels me a lot whenever I visit this market is the cart pushers though they are called truck pushers here. Lol. There were many of them at the market pushing one form of goods from the inner shops were cars find it hard to reach because of the non-availability of parking space or because people just want to park outside so that they will find it easier to drive off instead of driving very slowing inside the market and searching for parking space. While I was walking about the market enjoying my window showing and seeing a lot of things I wish I could by but just couldn’t afford them or not having them in my spending plan I kept wondering what would happen if the cart pushers were on @actifit, I bet they’ll be topping more than 70,000 steps a day. Lol. Those guys were incredibly fast even with the heavy goods they were carrying. You would think they had wheels of their legs. Lol. I didn’t help out much at the house today, was just so exhausted from the long walk at the market under the hot sun and very dry weather during the afternoon which are not really my favorite time of the day for a walk.
