Rain day! Actifit: October 21 2019
The fall fun officially came to an end today. The rain arrived, after days and days of glorious fall weather, during which I walked countless trails and captured as much beautiful fall color on camera as I could.
Today, with the wet weather, many of the leaves are coming down, and heavy winds are expected which will bring down even more. It will be interesting to see what remains after this weather front moves through.
I had to get my steps by going to the gym! After all summer and fall on the trails, I decided it was high time I made an appearance. I ran for a while and spent some time on the rowing machine. I definitely get more steps when I’m out walking on a trail and watching the scenery!
I also took a few pictures today out my office windows as the skies were very dramatic!

But now, once it has quit raining, you get to walk through the leaves and hear them crunch beneath your feet!
Ha ha. The rain is still falling so they are going “squish.”
