My Actifit Report Card & Football Rules: October 19 2018

Hi to all Actifitters,

Football is a name of well-known game which is also known as Soccer in USA and other countries knows as Football. It consists of 11 players. Two teams are playing the game with each of 11 players. This game can be play anywhere in the world, official playing field to street, beaches, parks, or gymnasiums. You can only use your part of bodies except hands and arms while playing Football.

As per the estimation of FIFA (Fédération Internationale de Football Association), there are approximately 250 Million football players around the world and 1.3 Billion people are interested in the world's best football game.

Aim of the Game

The major objective of the football game is to score goals more than your opponent. The total time frame is 90 minutes which is divided into two halves of 45 minutes. There is a 15 minutes rest time in between.

Football Field

Football Field or Football pitch, both are same. The Football field varies from 50-100 yard wide to 100-130 yard long . The Organizations used different dimensions but smaller pitches are used for youth league.

Goal

Net is placed behind the goal and goal line, and, the goals are placed at the center of each goal-line. It is mainly consists of 2 upright posts which are placed equidistant from the corner flag-posts. Both posts are joined at the top of horizontal crossbar, the inner and lower edge must be 7.32 meters (8 yd) and 2.44 meters (8 ft) respectively.

How football is played?

Football is played by using a soccer ball of 58-61cm circumference. It is played by two teams, each of have 11 players in order to compete. They all need to get the ball into other team's goal for getting a goal. The more goal you have, the more chances to win the game.

How do you start a football game?

Football is always start from kicking off the soccer ball . The team who lost the coin toss will kick-off the ball to start the game. On the other hand, other team who won the coin toss can play the game from which direction they want to play.

Rules of Soccer

• Each team can have only 11 players including 1 goalkeeper.
• The Football match consists of two 45 minutes halves with a 15 minute rest.
• Soccer ball should have a circumference of 58-61cm in spherical shape.
• The Football field must be made of natural or artificial grass. The size of field must be within 50-100 yards wide and * 100-130 yards long. It should be rectangular shape and marked as well to show the bounds. The center circle and place for 12 yards for penalty must be visible.
• The goal can be consider only when the soccer ball cross the goal-line.
