Sundaywalk in the mountain and my Actifit Report Card: oktober 14 2018
Hike to the Sildvik mountain in Northern Norway.
I try try to get out in the mountain when it is possible. Now when the days are shorter and it start to get dark around 18:00 o'clock I have to use the daylight during the weekends. Today we followed an old track/road from year 1900 when the railroad was built up to the mountain. We was quite lucky with the weather with no rain during the hike. The last days the temperature has been around 10 degrees and some of the snow has melted in the higer ground (6-700m).
The old road are leading up to the railroad station.
At the Rombak railroad station stand a old watertower. It was used to fill water on the old steam locomotives.
From the trainstation the road go up to a plateau where the landscape opens up.
When up a cup warm coffee and a cake tasted good.
View down to the valley and fjord where we started.
Almost down and home to dinner. Have a great evening.
Best regards
Harald

Great photos. I like the path photo and the waterfall. Paths through forests are always so interesting. Full of promise and potential.
