Chanterelles. The gold in the forest.
We had a beautiful Saturday with sun today with around 17 degrees. Perfect weather to go out in the woods and search for cantarella. Today we had great luck and found almost 6 kilo. This is the first time ever I picked mushrooms, but with guidance by a colleague I now have confidence to go out hunting. It is a exciting "hunt". If you find one, there "suddenly" can be many around you, between and under gras and moss. It is also great exercise to walk around in the sun and looking for the gold of the forest. Today we had sucsess.

The price of one kg of chantarelles is about €18 in Finland. If one mushroom weighs about 10 g, then the value of one is about 18 cents.
Picking chantarelles is like picking 20 cent coins. :D

Yes. In fact, most people would be better off just picking chantarelles right now than trying to earn STEEM. But @harkar seems to be doing both: he is picking mushrooms and thus avoiding to have to pay for them and he's blogging about it on Steem. :D

Yes. They are very goos frying/steak in a pan with some oil/butter, salt and pepper. Great snacks 😋 have spared a little to use as fresh. They can be saved some days.

Beautiful views as usual. I wonder if people who live around the beauty of nature all of the time, take it for granted. I really appreciate that you share your reality with those of us that have a different daily view. I see beauty and majesty in nature all the time, but there is always another level. Awesome!
Thank you for nice comment and reflection. Maybe one can get blind for the beauty around us in the everyday life. I think the nature is beautiful everywhere, and each place has it's own beauty. Steemit and other platform give me the possibility to get a little peak from different places around the world and that is great. I love to be out, therefore pictures about that 😊
