I loved fig cookies when I was a kid. The popular brand was Fig Newton. The company's ads often ran on Saturday mornings (prime cartoon watching time). The spokesman dressed up as a fig and danced.

    I have eaten similar biscuits myself... but honestly, I prefer to eat fresh figs, freshly picked from the tree!
