Wednesday Walk My Actifit Report Card: September 11 2019
Today's Actifit report also serves as my participation in @tattoodjay's Wednesday Walk. Yesterday, as I was walking home after dropping off my car at the mechanics, I took a ton of pictures.
While walking a route I normally would drive, I noticed some cool things that I would not see driving. I saw a tree with a hole in it's trunk. (top photo)
Walking by it allowed me to examine it more closely.

I loved how the decay and insect damage caused parts of wood to break off and settle in the hole.
I wonder if this pattern was caused by insects or just expose to the elements.
In this photo you can see the the saw dust left behind by insects.
This last hole in an exposed root caught my attention because ran out from the hole in front of me.

What cool things you spotted on your walk that first hole in the tree is interesting I know they probably fell that way but I pictured some little animal was doing a construction job in there
