My Actifit Report Card: February 18 2019

Hey everybody! Today, I did a different kind of hiking....a new category called ice cleat hiking 😎 My feet were sore from the snowshoeing we did Saturday, so instead I put on my ice cleats and proceeded. Turned out to be the right choice as there is still plenty of snow on our trail. ❄️☃️ If you’ve read my post a couple of days ago, the pic attached to this post might seem familiar. I felt it appropriate to reuse the bobcat foot print today because I have an update. There are some wooden box like frames with siding on them to close off the underside of the porch of the off grid cabin we hike by. This is where we saw the foot prints heading into on Saturday. Well, today, that frame had been knocked down and upon looking under the deck much to our surprise were 2 luminous eyes staring back!🙀. Then they blinked......twice! Well, we didn’t hang around to snap a pic or anything obviously! Bobcats aren’t as threatening as a cougar but they are still 25-40 pounds of steel wrapped in fur. This was our second sighting which is kind of cool. I jokingly asked my husband if maybe we should take some kitty treats tomorrow and he said catnip might be better lol! Just kidding! The hike was awesome and the bobcat was icing on the cake! Well-that’s it for now. Have a good day wherever you are!🐾🐾
