Hello steemIt users worldwide 🗺 today this is a some sort of appreciation post for the amazing, hardworking and very friendly devs behind bringing @Actifit to what it is today and the exiting future it has ahead not just here on the ever growing blockchain but also on improving people’s lives by rewarding them for being more active wether your just taking the stairs instead of the elevator or walking and having your feet lead you to wherever actifit is for everyone and I encourage everyone to use it.

So the things I will talk about today are...

These are not in order but just some things that will be discussed in this post. So without any more interruptions let’s begin with the first topic being...

WHAT IS ACTIFIT

Actifit to put it quite simply is a Dapp on the blockchain that rewards its users AFIT TOKENS (that can be redeemed for steem) for the blockchain users to be more active. Actifit encourages everyone to get more active wether doing little bits like taking the longer walk home or going for a jog around the block. actifit encourages everyone to be active and rewards you for doing that.

WHY I ENCOURAGE YOU TO USE ACTIFIT

I highly recommend that anyone and everyone should give actifit a Try even if your not a very active individual yet this Dapp May give you that little extra motivation. Although earning AFIT TOKENS is its main attraction there’s still other things that will encourage you to use it. For instance the ability to post your score, a story and everything about your body such as height,weight etc. Not forgetting the amazing leaderboard feature for those looking to be the best active individual. Actifit helps you tell other people on the blockchain about you what you did for that day and so on. Actifit has a very friendly community and an awesome hard working dev team that are all friendly and happy to help you at anytime so give it a try I’m sure you’ll love using actifit.

WHY I THINK ITS ONE OF THE TOP DAPPS

Here on the blockchain we are very privileged to have some amazing dapps but actifit has caught my eye for many reasons the main reason is rewarding for being an active person. Now your steps actually have purpose your steps are now worth something other than just being active actifit does a brilliant job on this. Actifit is one of the best because it helps you be an active person. Being active reduces lots of health risks and that is brilliant who doesn’t love being more active even if your not rewarded. Being active is a good thing to be.

HOW ITS BENEFITTED MYSELF

I have always been a very active individual however after dropping out of college and losing lots of friends I grew up with I didn’t have any reason to get outside as I would have no one to hang out with however dapps like actifit encouraged me to get outside and get some activity in some days I’ll just walk to the shop purchase some snacks and other days when the weather is nice I would jus take walk and walk and let my legs take me to wherever I do not think or where to walk too.

A NEW LOOK ON ACTIVITY

Before actifit you had the occasional app that maybe counted steps tracked you via gps and so on but actifit has completely changed the game by rewarding its users for being active giving a leaderboard to add a competitive element and having a very friendly community. I see big ambitions in the future from actifit this is gonna be a never ending journey and can’t wait to see what the future holds for this incredible Dapp.

IDEAS/SUGGESTIONS FROM MYSELF

Okay before I suggest these things some are very bold and maybe very unrealistic but here goes...

A LIVE LEADERBOARD

I love the leaderboard so far the top 20 leaderboard is great who knows it could go to top 30 if the members keep on coming 😉. But one thing I’d personally like to see is a separate leaderboard which will be live for example the leaderboard will be constantly live and people will fall/rise depending how many steps they do this could be a top 50-100 leaderboard and one you have published your daily steps you will be removed off the live leaderboard and placed onto the top 20 standard leaderboard if of course you make it hehe. I think having a live leaderboard will be a cool feature if not live have it refresh every so often say hourly for example I think it would be another cool way to see people being active.

MEDALS\BADGES DIRECT IN APP OR ON A WALL THAT CAN BE A NEW BANNER FOR YOUR SUBMITTED POSTS

I heard that there are badges but I didn’t look into them much Burbank how about medals or a certificate collection for example if you don’t have a pic or don’t have a pic to upload the blockchain you can have a wall or the badges/certificates you have earned using AFIT for example certificates like but not limited too all time active points earned. Number of times earned 10k points. Number of times posting 7 days in a row just somebody little things like that to show you’re “loyalty” to actifit

IN APP RADIO

Don’t have music to walk to don’t worry why not have live or pre recorded podcasts played directly from the actifit app now whilst walking by you can here the friendly team talk about the app that you are currently using.

OFFICIAL ACTIFIT MERCH

Hats/caps, clothing items, accessories etc available to purchase too help in promoting actifit to the world why not the option to purchase merchandise with the AFIT tokens you earn! What a game changer that would be. I’d love to see a guy run by rocking an actifit cap or t shirt. I’m sure the devs would too as I’m sure actifit has lots of very passionate users around the world.
