I’m amazed I went over 10k today, all morning I had to do boring paperwork trying to get the accounts in order and also answer tons of questions from my accountant. I really enjoy producing product that people enjoy, supplying customers and knowing they are happy. But paperwork is boring and just a cost - it burns time I could be using to sell more of my awesome coffee.

Anyway with it done I got down to business packing 20kg of loose English Breakfast tea into kilo bags and then back to the roaster to fulfill new orders.

I’ve been pushing a big customer for a while now - because I know they are going to drop a 150kg coffee order and want it yesterday - and I won’t start roasting until they order - just in case they don’t because that is a lot of roasted coffee to shift elsewhere. Anyway at 5kg every 20 minutes it’s not a quick job to do their order - and I’m already getting overloaded with general orders. Finally I got them to start talking and it looks like the order will be in within the week - so I’m prepping to get busy!
