BeActive in Auntumn #24 - Running 6,2 [EN/PL]
[EN] Unfortunately, the good weather in Belgium has finished today, it was raining since morning. Anyway I planned to train at the gym today, but I was afraid of train on the elliptical trainer, because after the last time when I overreacted with these quick intervals. For a few days I had terrible soreness in my calves that it was difficult to walk up the stairs. That's why I chose running on a treadmill today, whenever I run on it I feel like a hamster, but today it went quite easy, I do not know if it was due to yesterday's rest or a very interesting podcast I listened (unfortunately it was in polish) from Run Forest Podcast. I recommend it not only triathlon enthusiasts, an excellent motivating program. Not even I realized when 40 minutes of training had passed and I had to get back to work. Maybe you know some interesting podcasts about running or cycling, which is great listening during the training.
In spite of such a large distance between me and Poland, in the morning I received very sad news of sudden death on the way to work my good friend Mariusz, great boss and excellent officer of the Polish army, the news of his death was like a blow, still not I can come to terms with the thought that a young, ambitious and wonderful man has left us so fast. Mariusz, you just passed away too quick ...: (( R.I.P
[PL] Niestety skończyła się dziś ładna pogoda w Belgii, od rana pada deszcz. I tak miałem dziś w planach trening na siłowni, obawiałem się jednak ćwiczeń na orbitreku, bo po ostatnim razie kiedy przesadziłem z tymi szybkimi interwałami. Przez parę dni miałem straszne zakwasy w łydkach, że trudno było po schodach chodzić. Dlatego wybrałem dziś bieganie po bieżni mechanicznej, zawsze gdy tak biegam to czuję się jak chomik, dziś jednak poszło dość gładko, nie wiem czy to zasługa wczorajszego odpoczynku, czy bardzo ciekawego podcastu "Piekło i niebo triathlonisty- IRONMAN World Championship w Kailua Kona w relacji Marcina Fabiszewskiego" z Run Forest Podcast. Polecam nie tylko pasjonatom triathlonu, doskonała motywująca audycja. Nawet nie wiek kiedy minęło 40 minut treningu i trzeba było wracać do pracy. Może znacie jakieś ciekawe podcasty o bieganiu albo kolarstwie, które świetnie się słucha w czasie treningu.
Mimo tak dużej odległości dzielącej mnie z Polską, już z samego rana dotarła do mnie bardzo smutna wiadomość o nagłej śmierci w drodze do pracy mojego dobrego kolegi, świetnego szefa i doskonałego oficera wojska polskiego Mariusza, wiadomość o jego śmierci była jak uderzenie obuchem, wciąż nie mogę się pogodzić z myślą, że odszedł od nas młody, ambitny i wspaniały człowiek. Mariusz, po prostu odszedłeś za szybko... :(( Spoczywaj w spokoju.
