Working with Fitbit - My Actifit Report Card: January 15 2019
Still learning new things about this fitbit. Today I went to my dance class and in the past the group has compared our different trackers at the end of the session. 7-8k seemed to be the average. Today was my 1st time using the fitbit and I got 7200, which is some lower as my count before with actifit was always very close to 8k. So still experimenting. I found this chart just now, thought it was rather interesting. It shows I was pretty active 7 out of 9 hours today. I didn't go to the Y today. I have the dance class this morning and I had planned to attend a regular dance tonight. But freezing rain and sleet made us decide to stay home. So YouTube and I had our own dance party for the rest of my steps. Then I had the misfortune of watching the Bulls get obliterated again in a late night game. This has been their worst season ever. Sad, sad, sad. Hope you all had a better evening than Bulls fans!
@blueeyes8960, it seems that Fitbit counts 10% less than Actifit dApp. It is almost the same if I compare what my phone application tracks and what Actifit dApp tracks.

I am seeing the opposite. Today my Fitbit Versa has 20,015 and Actifit has 17056 as you see from the screen shot I posted earlier. Not sure why @blueeys8960's is different. I am running IOS, and they haven't gotten the software complete yet for syncing Actifit with the Fitbit. Looking forward to that update when it happens! :)
Keep learning with the Fitbit. Maybe the real count is in the middle between Fitbit and actifit.

I think you are right, it'll probably all average out in the end.

Good steps there. I'll like to ask, is the dance you learn, is it like the slow raising of legs and hands type? Lol. Or is it the party type of dance?
It's called line dancing and it's very active. There are all different dance patterns done to all kinds of songs. So some are fast and some are slow.

Ahhh! That is massive exercise you got going there. Well done.

On some of the fitbits you can adjust the sensitivity. I have mine set so it isn't extremely sensitive because I wear it on my dominant side, so I can still wear my watch.

Yeah, the Fitbit and Actifit don’t give the same count. On mine sometimes the Actifit gives more counts at other times the Fitbit does give more counts. What the heck. Still figuring it out.
Great job on steeping. 👍😀
