I've had a very positive last two days! With my promotion in sight, I have new challenges and a new direction at work. Today I covered for a coworker who was on vacation. Today's focus was to start thinking like a manager (well...semi-manager) and be on the lookout for potential problems that need to be addressed.

Walking around the airport, I had to replace 5 monitors at the ticket counter that had what appeared to be liquid damage on the screens. Like this.

And then I walked around maintaining kiosks and replacing mouse pads. Gotta keep everything looking nice.

And then I had to tackle a network issue that came about because our fuelers decided to redecorate their office and ripped the network jacks out. How??

I found a long cable and ran it around the room to get their PC back online.

Then I took out our recyclables and watched an episode of a show I found on Netflix called Lucifer. It's hilarious!

At home Aedan showed me his new toys. They're called Botbots, a new line of Transformers that came about when energon somehow flooded a mall. A whole variety of things became a new form of Transformers.

They are silly and fun to play with. But that's about it for today.
