Actifit Android v0.4.0 Beta Launched!

We are proud to announce that we have officially launched Actifit Android Version 0.4.0! The launch took place earlier today so it might take few hours to propagate to where you are.

This is a major release update for Actifit, and contains lots of functionality that we believe provides greater user experience and huge growth for Actifit overall!

Some of the key functionalities as part of the release include:

Image Upload Functionality

Few weeks back, we announced obtaining our own space for hosting user images, and made that functionality available via actifit.io. Today we are happy to include an image upload functionality as part of the mobile experience,whereby users, while attempting to create their report can easily select an image, and choose to upload it, whereby a copy will be hosted on actifit image hosting servers, and will be embedded as part of the post where your cursor is at.
You can upload multiple images and place them across the post wherever you prefer.

Preview Report Markdown Content

If you look carefully at screen above, you will also notice there is a new section just below the content editor, that allows you to preview whatever content you have placed, including images and all markdown layout you have used.
This comes in handy for anyone who wants to perform a full on-phone formatting of their content before posting it to Steem blockchain.

Camera Capture

While doing your favorite activity, you might want to document on the fly using Actifit app. In order to do that, you can use the new SNAP AN ACTI PIC option, which will allow you to just take an image. All images will be stored in your gallery, whereby once posting your activity you will be able to choose and upload them to the report.

Active Username and Rank

Looking at above screenshot again, you might notice something new, which includes the current active user (the one used on post to Steem screen), along with the relevant User Rank that the user currently has, which ranges from 0 (lowest) to 100 (highest).

New AFIT Token Earning Method - Token Swap

We had announced before that we will be providing new means to start earning more AFIT tokens. That time is now !

We are happy to be kicking off the first official AFIT/STEEM token swap capability, whereby you can now maximize your AFIT token earnings, at a discounted price, to pile up more AFIT tokens during those months before SMTs are officially live.

You can benefit from this option via using the Full Report Payout section and checking the Maximize AFIT Token Earnings.

What this will do, is to set a new account that we created for those purposes, @actifit.funds, as the beneficiary of the remaining 90% of the post (already 5% goes to actifit.pay for delegators, and another 5% goes to actifit), so that you will receive 2 rewards:

• The standard AFIT token rewards at the timing of the upvote, based on the existing reward system.
• At the time of payout of the post, the amount of SP/SBD earned by the post, will be converted to AFIT tokens, and will be credited to the author. The calculation will be based on current STEEM price in USD, and SBD price per USD, converted per AFIT discounted offer price per USD.

The benefit of this is that you are earning more AFIT tokens, which would increase your User Rank, while also earning them at a discounted price, according to schedule below:

As you can see, the discounted pricing initiates as of this month, covering October & November at 60% discounted price ($0.050), out of our AFIT projected pricing post SMTs at $ 0.125, on May 2019.

We are also happy to confirm that the total supply of our AFIT tokens will be at a total of 2.1 Billion tokens, of which 11,275,297 AFIT tokens have been rewarded as of this moment.

Dynamic Charts

While reading numbers is useful, yet viewing charts is much easier to the eye. A pic is worth a thousand words!
Which is why we implemented a new charting library to Actifit app, which allows viewing the Activity History in a chart mode.

The chart is completely dynamic, meaning you can zoom in, zoom out, scroll in, scroll out, and highlight specific dates. This allows easy access to your past activity. We also highlight the min 5,000 activity level to compare your results and how often you've been crossing this min activity threshold.

We plan on implementing more charting functionalities in future updates.

Abuse Prevention

We implemented several levels of abuse prevention and security mechanisms to Actifit app. We are dead serious about preventing abuse and fighting abusers, which is why our efforts are continuous towards this goal.

Other Items

We also applied some layout enhancements, wording modifications, small features and several bug fixes. We also added the current version number to the settings page to make it easier to track which version you currently have installed.

Actifit Witness

Yesterday we officially announced the launch of our Actifit witness. We have received lots of amazing support from the community. We are continuously climbing our way towards the top 100 list. As of this moment, we received 90 votes, bringing Actifit to ranking 166 among witnesses.
We have already upgraded our Steem version to 0.20.6 and our witness is fully setup at this stage.

AutomaticWin Rewards

As per yesterday's update, we sent out the AFIT token rewards to winners of this competition. We also provided upvotes to winners who already placed comments on the post. Missing ones will be rewarded as they do.

We had a noteworthy amazing contribution that received a special upvote and reward, by @chesatochi who challenged himself to get to over 100,000 Activity per day, and reached 102064, while recording several videos and posts to document this! This is his final post

As per our daily reward system, our latest voting round included 370 activity reports. The increase is partially due to delays in our past voting round, yet quite happy with the increase!

A kind reminder to all actifitters: some versions of esteem app still cause issues when used to edit your reports, via removing essential info Actifit uses to identify proper reports. This prevents related reports from receiving rewards.
Until this issue is officially fixed via the esteem team, we advise that you use other Steem interfaces for editing, including our own actifit.io, steemit, busy or others.

Delegation Status

Under our new Actifit reward and rank system, the amount of delegated SP has a large influence over not only the daily/weekly delegation reward, but also on the amount of rewards the actifitter receives on daily reports, as it constitutes a key element in User Rank.
Which is why being an Actifit delegator now has more influence on your rewards, coupled with number of AFIT tokens and other factors highlighted before.
Add to that, and a key important item that will benefit Actifit by receiving more delegation, is the ability to claim and create more user accounts. At the moment, Actifit is claiming a max of around 7 account spots per day. Although this is a good start, yet the number is still small compared to the potential that Actifit has to bring in masses. Simply another reason to delegate to Actifit!

Delegators share a max cap of 100K AFIT tokens according to their delegation amount, and also earn a 5% beneficiary reward from actifit posts' beneficiary earnings.

Since many ask, here we describe again an easy way to calculate your AFIT tokens for a full day of delegations:
(Your Delegated SP) * 100,000 AFIT MAX / (Actifit Account Delegated SP - without account own SP and any delegators who opted out).
So for instance if you had delegated 100 SP, your daily earnings would be around:
100 * 100,000 / 155,000 = 64.51 AFITs

When you are looking to increase your delegation, you need to use the new total amount as the delegation amount, and not only the increased amount. Otherwise only the new amount will be used, and the remaining amount will be undelegated.
