First Month SteemIt Update

Well I have been on SteemIt now for just about 1 month. My first day on SteemIt was November 4th, so I know this is a day or so early. Since then there have been a few great changes. For starters avatars were added. I know it took me a few days to decide on a free one, when I did I added the avatar.

Now the new changes that have been added are also on the settings page we can add things like a display name, about, location, and website to our main page. I don't know yet if I will use them, but I know I have seen others started using them today.

I have meet several new people that have been very interesting to read their blogs, and communicate with them. I learned about SteemVerify, of which I became verified and wrote an article about the process here, https://steemit.com/howto/@smysullivan/stemit-101-how-to-become-verified

There have been ups and downs. For one the last few days, roughly 9, I have not had very much of a chance to write or post anything, I did still get a couple posts but mainly comments.

Since I have joined SteemIt, I have been learning to write. This is one of those things I never really spent much time working on being I never had fun doing it. I also been looking for new or better ways to curate, I'm still not great but I figure my votes can help encourage others and not just make more Steem.

Being this is my first month I obviously started off with 0 followers, posts, and I was also following 0 people. Today I have 153 followers, 664 posts, and I am now following 526 people.

As to Steem when I started I was given 50 Steem Power to start as of today I have 594.120 SteemPower, I have 2.431 Steem, I have SBD $0.292 not counting the amount I have in savings. I have used BTC faucets to get 24.743 Steem.

When people start here on SteemIt they are at reputation of 25. Today I am at reputation of 58 and according to Steem.cool I still need 1278 (b)illion REP until next level. I also have about 1.3M Vests. I really have enjoyed my time here on SteemIt, and my account value started around $10 or $11 based on the amount of Steem I was given, and now I have worked my way up to almost $100 in a single month. This alone has been very encouraging and best of all I have been having lots of fun at the same time.

I have chosen 100% power up on this post. The 1st image I found labeled for reuse with modification on a Google search, which I modified for this post in paint, the rest of the above images came from screenshots I have taken from my account, I did modify the one from Steem Whales since I was on the bottom row to make it easier to read.
