Great post and I am glad you brought this under the attention. I am here since a month and I really like the idea of Steemit, but there are some things bugging me already. The massive amount of bots, and self voting from posts and comments. I get the idea why this has been decided in the past, but people adjust behavior accordingly. And I hate to say it but also my own behavior changed already because of this. Just voting on the highest pay outs without even reading them, that can't be the idea of Steemit. I hope you just have set something in motion.
