An abandoned place with history: the Herculane Baths resort lies in ruins

A blessed place with miraculous waters, clean air and charming landscapes. But he reality is cruel. What has given nature has been eclipsed in recent years by the lack of care of those who drove the resort, a disease that ate from the roots this gorgeous area.

It is sad to see such an amazing buildings that, over the time, will become just ruins...

The famous resort was built around miraculous thermal waters, which spring from the hills and forests of a Czech fairy tale region. Luxurious city recreates like a huge city-monument where you can not tell if a building is more important than the other.

In today's Herculans we still can seet the ghosts of the grandiose buildings of the past.

When i saw this amazing fountain i thinked that history should be never forgotten..and all this buildings must come back to "life".
The acces is forbidden, but i take the risk with my friend, and i manage to photograph an amazing picture inside the building.

Built at the end of the nineteenth century, Herculane Baths had the most modern spa facilities at that time. After the Revolution, the building only functioned for a few years, and for about 20 years the place degrades every day. And that's how the baths look like, in the past, tourists from all over the world came to treatment...broken windows, fallen faience, stolen pipes, muddy walls, a heap of debris and dust, that's all that's left. Unless urgent action is taken, the patrimony building, with a vast history behind it, risks collapsing.
