Abandoned boarding school
This is how the former boarding school № 4 now looks like. For more than three years, the educational building is empty, homeless people and dogs have become its temporary inhabitants. During this time, it has come into disrepair, there are no batteries, no windows, or even doors. Now he began to gradually demolish. Most likely, a residential complex will be built on the site of the former educational institution.
2015 year
The object was commissioned in the fall of 1960. On the territory of the training complex were built - an educational building with a kitchen and sleeping quarters, a boiler room, a vegetable storage, a sports ground and a garage. 10/17/1960, a boarding school №4 for orphans and children left without parental care began its work. The first class of students was recruited.
Among the graduates of the school were famous people, for example, the USSR boxing medalist among young people in 1970, USSR champion in 1971, in 1970 - three times champion of the RSFSR Alexander Abbasov
The boarding school worked until the early 2000s. Apparently the orphans ended and the buildings were transferred to the Samara Municipal Academy of State and Municipal Administration. The former school houses several faculties, departments of economics, mathematics, a library and a gym.
Samara Academy of State Medical University occupied the building until 2012. Then she left, the building remained empty. For some time the object was guarded, but not very zealously - in the courtyard there was a booth with a guard. Gradually, they brought out more or less valuable. The building was chosen by the homeless and drug addicts. There were several fires.
According to the officials, the building was planned to be converted into a kindergarten and elementary school. But these plans did not materialize. In December last year, the building began to slowly disassemble and clear the surrounding area. Apparently, soon there will be a residential complex on the site of the former boarding school.
