The Islamic Tourism on Holy Month of Ramadan - MyPictureDay

This is the Islamic tourism of the holy month of Ramadhan in Aceh which I captured at the Baiturrahman mosque which is the icon of Islam located in Banda Aceh City, Aceh province, Indonesia.

In the holy month of Ramadan, the holiest month in the Islamic calendar of the people of Aceh is generally busy spending time in the mosque for prayers, as well a tour to the Baiturrahman mosque for people living outside the city of Banda Aceh.

Baiturrahman Mosque is a favorite place for the Aceh people for Islamic tourism, every day thousands of tourists visit this mosque to see its grandeur. Not only the local visitors, the mosque which is the icon of Islam Aceh is also visited by people from various provinces in Indonesia, even from various parts of the world.

In addition, the people who visited this mosque also did not forget to capture the moment photographed, as a memory for having been to the mosque Baiturrahman, especially for visitors from outside the region.

Discussing the magnificent building of the Baiturrahman mosque, each side of the mosque has a variety of distinctive architecture with the Aceh region, because the shape of this mosque building will be found only in Aceh province.

In addition to the architecture there is also a unique and interesting carvings that can divert our view to see more closely each carving on the mosque building.

The mosque has also undergone several improvements and updates, after the devastating tsunami that struck Aceh in 2004.

The renewal ranging from the appearance of the mosque, such as repainting, renovation of a number of sides damaged by the earthquake and tsunami, the expansion of the mosque courtyard, and now has been installed a number of electric umbrellas on the left and right sides of the mosque for the appearance of a more beautiful mosque.

A number of these photos are my journey moment while visiting Baiturrahman mosque, the various angle I capture to satisfy my view of Aceh icon.
