Welcome the the occasional Zekely as my schedule pushes me around and I get them in when I can! Usually makes for a good story, helps me remember some of the neat things that I photographed that would have otherwise been forgotten, and check those late night party shots for that special brand of madness.

I have had a great amount of family time before the Christmas season starts cranking that dial up with dinners and holidays. Tim to strap on your drinkin' socks and hit it!

Beer hits the radar a couple times this week and post so I gotta put it in early. I am enjoying one of my all-time favourite Seasonal Gold selections. Unfortunately no so I am savouring it now.

From the Another New Adventure folder, I had a chance to get out and do something neat and new to prove you can teach an old dog new tricks. Mixing business with pleasure is a lot of what I am doing lately with new and existing companies coexisting in my schedule. This occasion, we got together as young professionals for a chamber of commerce event where we flung bladed weapons! Having never done this before, it was neat, new, challenging and you could drink beer while you did it so I was all in! https://steemit.com/sportstalk/@zekepickleman/sportstalk-time-to-chuck-some-axes It was so good, I took the family back on the weekend to show them something new while supporting a cool local small business.

Speaking of business, I did get a little ladder time, support time and marketing operations in the last while for sure. This is a bit of older technology that turned out to be needing a little attention to resolve the issues it was having. It is such a shame that small businesses half ass their information technology set up, under-provision for even the most basic needs, neglect their equipment and leave their modest setup in such a rats nest. A clean up and backup system check are the first things we do because they have such value.

The segues are flowing smoothly in his post as there seems to be a common theme. Here, I was called out to help one of our residential internet clients who was having issues with old equipment and poor performance. When you come out at short notice to help them out, they are often grateful which makes doing a good job that much more fulfilling. The icing on the cake is when they sit and drink a beer with you while you do the work! I haven't had a Guinness draft in a while but is it my second favourite kind of beer. That being FREE! (the first is LOTS and the third is IPA.)

I will have to share a few more pics of this tomorrow on the #wednesdaywalk as I had a good one over the weekend. I am training for a tournament I am fighting in this weekend and Saturday was training day. It also turned out to be daughter day as we went for a walk, bought some presents, and stopped into a friend's diner for a milkshake! This one was called the Triple B which stands for Baileys, Bourbon and Butterscotch. So damn good! Long Live Boozy Shakes!

I couldn't take one fraggle out for a treat and not the other. So, I took the smaller one out to Jobsite Brewing for a little drink and thin crust pizza. She had noted that I had never taken her there which seemed strange for all the times I had been there with family. So, she meticulously separated her pizza to cool and enjoyed every last slice. They have plenty pf board games, serve pop for kids and popcorn to snack on so it doesn't really feel like you are dragging children to a brewery.

The autumn season seems to be a little dull from the adventure and outdoor time. Truth is, I am heads down building businesses and staying conservative so that we can have an awesome Christmas. Chucking axes was fun and I am finishing off my prep for the fights I will have this weekend. that should make for a good story or 2 as it is my birthday weekend too and the guys are ready to rage!
