75h Venezuela's Blackout Personal Report
Yeah... That's a candle that my family used suring the blackout... I don't know what exactly to say now... I've been without light since thursday's afternoon and... Now is 3:30am on monday and I'm feeling like all life was taking away from me... 269 people died in hospitals due to the electric fail in all the country. People lost all the meat that they had, much food was lost, and no one will ever replenish the families of Venezuela their lost money, their food, the time they lost from their life. Many people are dehydrated, children in children's hospitals scream through the windows that they are hungry. We were isolated from the world for so long. I think I was starting to have that syndrome of the prisoners when they are in their cells and they can not do anything. I do not appreciate they put the electricity back, I feel better now that I have it again, but it is a right, not something to thank the government of my country.
Now all we can do is continue fighting for our freedom. And I write this just as a report, to help the people in the world know what is happening in Venezuela. It has been a nightmare and what I have been able to write here has not been a quarter of all the misfortunes that Venezuelans went through.
Soon I'll write more if the electricity stays. I had plenty of time to try to do new art... And I'll tell you more of what happened.
