Assalamu Alaikum

Assalamu Alaikum my dear friends. How are you all, I hope you are all well. Alhamdulillah I am fine by the grace of God. Guys, all of us here have more or less idea about crypto. We all know what cryptocurrency is and its basic infrastructure. All of us who love crypto have at least once in our lives wondered what it would be like if crypto was our current currency. But now the question is, instead of our traditional currency, can crypto be added as our future currency? The answer to the question is of course you can. We can easily say that crypto can be our future currency. And there are many special reasons behind our future currency being crypto.

We who live in Bangladesh do traditional currency transactions along with other transactions like Nagad, Bkash, Upay, Rocket etc. But the most popular among them are Nagad and Bkash. Now the question is why we are using these digital methods instead of traditional methods. The reasons for this are that through it transactions are easy, payments can be made at home, large amounts of money can be transferred very easily. Also if we have money in it there is less chance of theft or robbery etc. (virtual hacking is not mentioned here). These services are now becoming so popular in Bangladesh that currently Nagad has more than 8 crore subscribers in the country and Bkash has more than 7 crore subscribers in the country.

Now here you may have questions why I have given you these examples, what can you do knowing them etc. See, there was a time when we always used to deal with each other traditionally like earlier our internet bill was fetched by a serviceman where now we pay our bill online, earlier we had to wait in line to pay our electricity bill where I can pay at home, a There was a time when we had to go to the market and choose a product and pay its price and bring it home but now we can also buy it from home through online payment. Now notice one thing, can you see how people are gradually coming out of their traditional ways and adopting these new ways. In the same way crypto will at some point adopt and adapt itself from the current system to a new one. We also know that using crypto can provide us with many benefits that are not currently possible. I won't go into that now, I'll just talk about my topic today, you can also read my earlier posts on the various benefits of crypto.

However, the question now is that we all understand that crypto is going to be our future currency, but when is it going to be? Actually, neither you nor I can answer this question correctly. Because as easy as you might think it would be to create a new addition among us, it won't be that easy. Why not be easy? For this you have to go back a bit See I said that Nagad currently has more than 8 crore subscribers and Bkash has over 7 crore subscribers in Bangladesh, they are definitely not socially stupid or ignorant. It is not my aim to look down on them, my aim is to make you understand that when one takes these services he must be educated to the extent that he has an idea of how to take these services and how these services can be taken. For example, the number of mobile phone users in our country is 74 percent of the total population and the number of internet users is 45.5 percent. (as per 2023 report)

Now you must understand why crypto won't be our future currency anytime soon. It may be 50 years, 70 years or even 100 years from today, there is no guarantee. It will depend on how fast a nation is developing, how fast they are being educated about it and how fast they are adopting it. We all know that crypto is legalized in various countries and one can transact in crypto there if he wants to, but Even after crypto is legalized in that country, fiat currency is still valid in that country. This means that if we want to see crypto as our future currency, as well as the fiat currency of a country, it will rise from that country. And when it's all over the world, only we can refer to crypto as a specific currency.

And therefore, if one or two countries of the world do not accept crypto, it must be accepted by all countries. And all countries will adopt it when the people of those countries have knowledge about crypto and are aware about it And so I personally think that gradually all countries should educate and make their people aware about it. In this, the citizens of a country can easily move ahead with other countries in the future. For example, if we mention this, the first country that comes to mind is El Salvador. As they embrace crypto, they educate their public about it. They are teaching students in their schools how to do bitcoin mining to increase the knowledge of their younger students.

So finally we can say that crypto is definitely going to be our future currency. But it is difficult to say exactly when it will happen. And to accept crypto as the future currency, every people of the country must be aware of this and have an idea. This will only be possible when everyone in the world will come to a point where they know what crypto is and at the same time know about its pros and cons. Otherwise, it will be seen that in the future crypto will not be fully accepted among us and the dream that we have been dreaming of crypto as our future currency will not be fulfilled.
