Ground Orchids to the Max!
Mabuhay! How are you all my Steem friends? I pray you are all in good shape and in good health. I pray that you'll be under God's grace and guidance too.
For today's post. Let me share with you these extra huge Ground orchids as in tho the max!
It is mine and my husband's walk last May 30, 2021. Good thing that the phone's naming in the photos it took is the date and time of the capture. thanks to the man that invented the way of naming.
My husband had a talk with my co-worker who lives in San Jose, Libona Bukidnon that we will be going there that Sunday so we could purchase his scrap materials for our small crap business. We planned on going to the Piggery farm of my boss, where some of the friends that I have there said that they to had lots of Tanduay bottles ani canvassed them that I will be the one to buy it from them.
That morning, my hubby's motorcycle broke down and we had a hard time finding one to be borrowed. Good thing that Bboy, mother's border is going home and wi hitched, I asked him if we could borrow his motorcycle for a while and he agreed.
The moment we reached Crossing Libona, it was already raining. I was thinking about not going further but I already bought a whole roasted chicken for the visit. The rain slowed down a little but the clouds hid the sun. The part in the Libona is always raining. because it is already on the foot of Mount Kitanglad.
the signal in their area is so bad that we have to wait for him under a San Jose Elementary school's waiting shed for over an hour to let the rain calm down and go to their house. We arrived in Sir thommy's house past 11 am and we are hungry and wet. We had much fast and scaled the scraps they had in their backyard.
After we paid , we went straight to Sil-ipon, where the piggery farm that is mentioned earlier is situated.
We rode Sir Thimy's tricab, Whicjh is called "dolog (beetle)" . I should say he is a bad driver. I t was raining on the way there, so the road is flooded but he keeps on moving fast. i tols my husband secretly, "dili man guro na sya kabalo mugamit ug foot break ah!( i thing he doesn't know how to use the foot breaks.) he is driving like crazy.
We could not make a comment that time but we held tight and sit silently. it took almost an hour before we could reach Sil-ipon. Imagine how long we have endured. the road is bad too. muddy and slippery.
We arrived at Ma'am Deding's house where we were offered hot cocoa and after some time of chicks, they showed us their garden. Their flower collection is exquisite!
These are the flowers that welcomed us, huge Ground orchids in purple and cream.
That hill in the background is also a land the company owns. it is having fog at the moment. The place is always cold no wonder people drink a lot of alcohol.
Wet and muddy road can be seen too.
this is the flower Ma'am Deding's husband picked in their garden and was put in a vase with the roots still on , that way , the flower's life was extended.
Rain drops are still in this flower when I captured it.
This pretty flower caught my attention too.
These are her Anthuruim collections
A peace Lily that bloomed so full
Anthurium flowers on the other side of the garden
An on our way out, I caught my husband being such a Marittes , i don't know what he was looking over the fence. haha.
And those are the umbrellas that we used during the rain too.
Our walk was a failure. We have not maximized our time being here and there. It could have been better if we have brought a bigger vehicle to load everything that we can buy. Someday, in God's will, that will happen.
Today, when my husband was driving his Motorcycle, he lost his phone which he put in his pocket. some one saw that a certain man picked it up. but the man has no intentions of returning the lost phone because it seems that he turned the phone off instead of receiving the call that i made. Funny how some people think that not returning lost things is a huge benefit for them. the phone was over a year ole and the original Lcd was damaged, I have posted about it here ( )[https://steemit.com/hive-169461/@yoieuqudniram/diary-game-season-3-july-15-2021-thursday-at-work]
and was restored.I used it as a cover photo in this post https://steemit.com/hive-169461/@yoieuqudniram/the-diary-game-ame-season-3-august-3-2021-nilagnat-na-nman-si-dodong .
The phone's value might have degraded over the years but the sentimental value of it increased. It's priceless. and talagang nakakapanghinayang. Though I don't about it that much, it still breaks my heart.
This would be all for today, thank you for reading my post.
