Building a Bridge : Between the Real & the Ideal
There is the fallible human and the perfect art that they are capable of creating (with the assistance of inspiration, or the good graces of a muse). To bridge the gap between the artist and their art, this is the spiritual work. It is one thing to say or make beautiful things, and another thing to embody that beauty and live by its ideals: in thoughts, words and deeds.
These photographs of this stunning bridge, which just opened in Ba Na Hills Vietnam, have me thinking about the perfectibility of the soul. Also, how we cannot do it alone, and are carried to where we need to go, if we trust that we are in Safe Hands. To arrive at this metaphorical bridge, ceaseless work is required and, at the same time, complete surrender.
A paradox...

This is very true. I believe to create something, I need help from a higher hand. Spirituality helps me remain focused and see the beauty in everything that surrounds me in my daily environment. It helps me look past the negativity and focus on the beauty of the positive. I also try to live my life in a non-hypocritical away. It’s not always easy. Passing judgment is easy to do if you’re not careful. The more I create, the more I find out about myself. The more I know about myself, the more good I can do for those around me.
Thanks for sharing this I did not know it existed and I plan on researching it a little. Not sure if I am planning a trip there, but it would be cool to see!
