WHAT IS A SHITPOST?
I had a misunderstanding with a steemain yesterday and he accused my post of been a shitpost.
I have been hearing about shitpost, shitpost, but I don't know what that really means. My thinking about what shitpost means is a post that don't add value to the reader.
So I think my post is not a shitpost, it is a quality post because I think it has value to the reader.
He was saying that my post is a shitpost because what I talk about is not relevant to him. Well just because my post is not relevant to you does not qualify it has a shitpost.
I have come across so many post that are not really relevant to me, but I will not still refer to them has shitpost because they were well done.
Even if what I post about is not relevant to you, it will be relevant to others.
I have had people comment on my post that what I talked about in my post was just what the needed at that moment to make them feel good.
So my post is not a shitpost because I adds value to some people lives.
But, I would like to here from you what you think a shitpost means because, maybe I don't really know what a shitpost means?
Shitposts like Quality posts are subjective.
There are only a few things I think we would all agree on. Don't worry about those who expect the entire chain to be relevant to their own tastes.
