@ironshield had an "Exchange your SBD for Silver" post about 2 weeks ago and I couldn't help but click. I saw that the first bidder was $0.11 sbd by @thewineman 🍷👨 who I happen to follow. Now @Xtrodinarypilot believes that if I don't come in first place, you are in some variation of last place lol. I did the research and saw that the 1953 Silver Teddy at that day's price was valued at $1.50 usd melted. I decided to place my bid instantly and send @ironshield my payment immediately. @ironshield returned my upfront payment and told me to wait until the end of his auction. I advised him that I would be getting that coin one way or another. The irony is that a day before his post, I found a few thousand dollars of Paul Revere silver serve ware in my attic. It was a sign lol
Today it finally arrived in the mail.
@ironshield is a man of his word. Need I say more? If you aren't following him, you should be. @old-guy-photos is from Michigan as well, so you should be following him too.

@ironshield held an auction for his silver dime. I bid on it and won. The steemit community normally comes together and exchanges goods and services for steem or Steem Dollars
somehow I missed this I am bummed I would have given you a run for your money had I known about that auction. I love my junk silver. Never keep all your eggs in one basket....

Guys, I have some silver coins I'm looking to part with, mainly barber halves. I'm thinking unloading them on steemit would save me a few steps in converting usd to Steem.
